Last night did not go as planned. I worked, it was a bad day, and I didn't get home until 10:30 pm. We had planned to watch several movies, but settled on Galaxy Quest, a personal favorite. It was streaming and we weren't done with it at midnight when we went outside and cheered for the new year. When we came back in to finish it, it had been removed from the streaming service. Thankfully we had it on DVD so we could finish it and got everyone in bed at 1:30 in the morning. Some holidays require flexibility.
Today we kept things quiet and watched the University of Utah football game while eating fast food and doing jigsaw puzzles. We all went dutch and everyone paid for themselves. Well, not C, but everyone else, and that was cool. Steve and I could get used to the kids having disposable income.
