C is reading!

I did it!!! I taught C to read! Confession time: I relied on the preschool and kindergarten teachers to teach M, J, and D. We did the required reading at home but the bulk of educating was on their fantastic educators. Maybe it seems silly but I was worried C and I would fail. We spent the fall learning letters and sounds and today we put it all together and the boy read his first book...Mat. Such a good day!

A few days ago we read a story about animals and he made an elephant mask.

Sometimes Noki joins in the school fun and helps by holding the cards.
