We continue to have adventures at the farm. Today the kids loaded up their turkeys to be processed. It gives me great joy to see my children wrestling animals. I love that these experiences stretch my children. I love that they are doing things that are physical and dirty. Hopefully it gives them appreciation and empathy for those in different circumstances later on in life.
Frequently my children are glaring at me when I am hollering at them to "do it again" or "try harder" or "think of a better way" but their sense of accomplishment and pride afterwards is so rewarding for them and me. I know they can do hard things...they just don't know it themselves yet.
