Happy Thanksgiving! We put together our grateful wall list and the
kids took turns seeing how high they could jump. Grateful for our
bodies!
The kids rode bikes and scooters while Steve hung Christmas lights. D received his check from selling his goat at the fair and decided to buy his own scooter. It was pretty great watching him research with Dad the perfect sweet ride.
In other news, we ate our first homegrown turkey. It was incredibly delicious. Steve's boss suggested we use America's Test Kitchen suggestions and we will never go back. So dang good. It was strange eating something we had grown ourselves but turkeys are not cute so we weren't that attached.
For dessert we made a pumpkin cheesecake with salted caramel sauce that was to die for. I need this in my life everyday.
