Many hands...

Have you heard the saying "many hands make light work"? Yeah? Well...it's a lie. Many hands make light work as long as those hands want to help. Otherwise there is whining, tears, and shouts of "I'm bored" and "when can I be done?'

Do not be fooled by this heartwarming picture of the children helping me dehydrate peaches. The falling apart happened after it was taken. 

 

I probably did the same thing as them when I canned tomatoes and green beans with my Mom but I am glad she taught me how to preserve food. Thanks Mom!
