Steve took M, J, and D to the farm...without C. It was raining and we wanted one less muddy person coming home, but C was not having it. He screamed and screamed and screamed. I was starting to walk toward him but Noki tore up the stairs in that very moment. I thought for sure she was going to attack him since that has been her M.O. since arriving, and I ran forward a few steps to intervene, but I ground to a halt almost immediately. She rubbed against him, rolled on the ground, and pushed her head into his hands over and over again. I was stunned as I watched her comfort him. C's screaming slowly subsided as he pet her soft fur. Who is this cat?
