Spontaneity is the spice of life. It has been raining a lot this week. We were driving home from feeding the goats and I noticed a retention basin that was filled with water. I immediately pulled over, told the kids to get out of the car, and go splash in the water to their heart's content. They looked at me like I was nuts. Can't say as I blame them, but come on....there is a large pool of murky water. It is screaming to be played in. M and D dared each other and eventually J joined them. It was cold and wet and filthy and perfect.
Steve was shocked and horrified when I brought home three children very much in need of showers, but that is the yin and yang that makes us work.
