We arrived at the farm to feed and settle the animals down for the night. Within minutes D ran over, concerned because Sonic had a cut on the side of his mouth. We inspected the slice and tried to determine how it had happened. We found one lone wire poking out with his hair sticking to it. We were able to consult some people and we all decided it was superficial and would be okay to take a wait and see approach.
When we pulled up the next morning we were in for a big shock. Sonic's mouth was swollen and filled with pus. It was even dripping out of his nose. Gross, gross, gross. We googled. We consulted more people. We tried to clean his face. We reminded ourselves this happens in every episode of Dr Pol and it will resolve with no ill effects. But I repeat...gross, gross, gross.
