Some holidays bring unexpected detours. Such was the case with Independence Day 2021. Steve's Dad was admitted to the hospital with an infection that took the stuffing right out of him. We were able to stop by but due to visitor restrictions the boys could not go to his room. We decided Steve and M would visit Grampy while the boys and I visited with Grammy outside. Get better soon Grampy!
Excited to share Pop Rocks with Grammy.
We decided last year Pop Rocks are a perfect 4th of July treat
and have officially added it as a new tradition.
The rest of the day we stayed close to home, grilled, had our annual silly string battle, lit sparklers, and watched neighborhood fireworks from the driveway.
