Bracing goats

We are working on bracing our goats. M, J, and D push on their goat's heads and the goats push back. It's a real life lesson in physics- the equal and opposite reaction. When the goats push back they lock their legs, flex their muscles, flatten their back, and lean in. They are supposed to hold that position in the ring while a judge touches them. Truth? It's not going well. We should have started them several weeks ago when the goats were smaller but alas, we didn't know we needed to. We'll keep trying.

The tomatoes are setting fruit! Everyday is like Christmas.
