As close as we'll get

I love the life we live and I am extremely grateful for it, but it has been a personal sadness that we have not been able to provide country life for our kids. Growing up rural shaped me into the person I am and I like me. Living in the country forces you slow down, be bored, be creative, explore, make your own fun, get out of your own scrapes. You grow up fast in the country. Steve thinks my view of country life sounds exhausting compared to city life. Perhaps he's right.

But this goat adventure has been good for everyone. It is grounding, smelly, dirty, hard work and I love it. And (for the most part) so does everyone else.
