My friend was going out of the country for a month and did not have a plan for her dog. In a moment of what can only be compassion for human and canine, I offered to let it stay with us. In our house. Touching our furniture. Licking the kids. Peeing and pooping. All of the yucky things dogs do.
His name is Louie and the only reason I offered is because he is the laziest three legged dog who acts like a cat in almost every way. The husband and kids are in love.
I hope I don't regret this.
