D idolizes Steve and he blossoms when he has his undivided attention so Dad decided to take D on a solo hiking trip. They went to Catherine Pass and Sunset Peak and had a wonderful time.

Dad reported D spent the entire time darting from plant to flower to insect to animal and back again.
Both of them came home on a hiking high and can't wait to go together again.
