The Primary presidency in our ward sent out fliers inviting everyone in our neighborhood to get a socially distant treat from an "ice cream truck". M, J, D, and C could hardly wait. The day of the event had them jumping up and down with excitement. Hearing the first strains of music sent them running out the front door. When it was our turn an adult in a mask took our order and brought it back to us. We all sat happily chomping, licking and slurping our frozen treats. Afterwards Steve threw a football to the kids and the night ended with them running through our sprinklers. Thank you for something to look forward to!
