Maintaining testimonies of the Savior

This week for Come Follow Me we studied Alma 5-7 and talked about what it takes to gain and maintain a testimony of Christ. We made oobleck and showed how if we maintain a consistent circular motion with our hands the oobleck will maintain a ball shape. If we stop, it slips through our fingers. We likened that to our testimonies and how they require constant attention through scripture study, prayer, church and temple attendance, kindness, service, etc. We also talked about how it's normal for our testimonies to wax and wane and that we need to be aware of where we are spiritually so we can make adjustments when needed. The kids are loving our hands on lessons.
