We had a good home church lesson today. We talked about Mosiah 19:8-9 and that when we comfort those that need comfort, mourn with those that mourn, help others bear their burdens, and are a light to those around us we choose to enter into a covenant with Jesus Christ and we have the companionship of the Holy Ghost.
We also talked about keeping Christ in our hearts and how each commandment we keep and every good work we do for Him adds a layer of protection for us against the devil. We also talked about how we will have challenges, sins, and trials that will happen as a result of life, but because of the atonement we can repent and renew covenants we have made.
We took a very long afternoon walk and while enjoying the sunshine, stumbled upon a farm. We love a good adventure.
