Social distancing birthday party

M was invited to her first ever social distancing birthday party. Her friend dropped off a brownie and then M and all the girls had a selfie scavenger hunt. Afterwards they had a zoom call where they all laughed at the pictures they took. It was a success. The following are a smattering of the necessary selfies.

Smelling a flower.

An apple on the head.

With a fire hydrant.

Jumping into the air.

After the party we planted some tomatoes.

And we made ricotta gnocchi for dinner. The recipe looked like a winner, but it was easily in the top three worst dinners I've made in my life. The whole fam agreed. It rivaled (accidentally) burned chard and garlic burritos and depression era chicken, bread, and milk. (Yep, only three ingredients that should only be paired in a depression and probably not even then.)

DO NOT MAKE ANY OF THESE THREE DINNERS!

Unless you want to gag...then make these dinners.

My adorable, unsuspecting victims. I mean, helpers...
