J and D were quiet and especially focused for a long time this morning. I asked what they were doing and all they would say is that they were "working on something". Turns out it was letters to Santa. They wrote them for all of us. Clearly we were not taking the Santa letter writing experience seriously enough for them. M felt she could do her own and declined their services.
After writing letters they did Mad Libs together.
When Dad came home from work he took J and D with him on errands and the boys were giddy with excitement.
