Christmas 2019

Christmas Eve found us celebrating with Steve's parents.

The kids talked about rainbow jello for days. They needed reassurance that Grammy would make it.

C insisted taking his own pics of Grammy and Grampy.

Excited to play basketball and read little known facts.

Christmas jammies.

Batman ninja.

C recruited J to be his ninja sidekick.

Checking Santa tracker to see if he was getting closer to our house.

C loves reading and Grammy was happy to oblige.

We made it home in time to leave treats for Santa and the reindeer.

Santa came!

  .
Guess he was too busy to leave his signature, but he did leave a smattering of magical glittery dust.

We had a wonderful Christmas day at home.

M got the Utah gear she hoped for.

The boys also wanted Utah gear. J spent weeks hoping for a Utah football helmet. I know for a fact Santa and the elves spent hours trying to make that happen. In the end, he improvised with lacrosse helmets and Utah decals. That Santa. He's a real wizard.

Steve tried on J's helmet. Perfect fit.

D gave C a helmet. Now all the boys have one.

C is now the proud owner of a backpack.

He also got a tricycle and he and Daddy put it together.

"This is a wrench".

He preferred the screwdriver.

Go Utes!

Kicking the new ball in the front yard.

I know I already said this, but, "Go Utes!"

Penny boarding while the boys are kicking soccer balls and throwing footballs.

Helping C learned to ride his trike,

Pure joy.

M got henna and she was thrilled to use it.

And so it begins...

On a whim we invited my family for dinner. My Brother and Sister were able to join us for a feast of brats, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and peas. So glad you guys could come!

The day after Christmas we celebrated with my family. My mother knitted us all hats and added our initials. I can only imagine the amount of time that took. The kids have enjoyed wearing them as they have played in the snow. Thank you!
