With Thanksgiving this week we decided to make our wall of blessings for Family Home Evening. The kids had fun trying to out think their siblings and it was fun listening to their banter.
A J story - I heard him say he was thankful for piano which caught me by surprise since for several months he has been fighting me during practice. It has only been the last few weeks that practice has been tear-free. And here he was saying he was thankful for piano. Be still my heart!! So I said, "Did you say you were thankful for piano?" His gruff reply? "I'm thankful, but I'm not grateful." And that made me laugh and earned him a Mom hug and kiss on the cheek.
