M is super competitive and no one (outside of our family) sees it coming because she is very quiet, reserved, and easy going around others. Tonight she shocked our church congregation when she won the UNO championship. There were 60 youth participating and she beat them all! One of the youth leaders texted Steve to tell us how it happened. Apparently there were several tables set up and they played until there was one table left standing. When M laid down her last card, she quietly sat back and folded her arms. The play continued until one of the officiators asked her directly if she was out of cards. She smiled, said yes, and everyone cheered. Way to go Kiddo! Way to be competitive and humble about the win!
