This has been a
wonderful leisurely day. The boys created a carriage for C to ride the length
of the tile floor in style.
M’s church leaders gave her sunglasses and she has
had a hard time keeping them away from C.
Steve’s friend gave him tickets to a
Jazz game so we all got to watch the rookies play.
Some of us had a hard time tearing our eyes away from the game.
There were two retired
schoolteachers behind us who gave us shirts that had been handed out before we
got there. I
insisted the kids wear the shirts once we got outside and they agreed as long
as I did it too.
Steve refused to put it on.
But finally shrugged into it when I did.
