I love when eye exams coincide with free Slurpee day.
While we were standing in line for Slurpees a group consisting mainly of teenage boys cut in front of us brimming with enthusiasm for this sugary holiday. While two of the boys filled their cups, I was thinking about what little poo heads they were when a third boy stopped, apologized, and let us back in the line while explaining he and his friends were really excited. I thanked him and breathed a sigh of relief that someone had taught that kid manners and he had listened. Hopefully when my kids are running from 7-11 to 7-11 with their friends they will make good choices too.
