This morning we focused on homework. Everyday the kids write an essay or practice penmanship, read to themselves, read to C, do a math and vocab assignment online and practice piano.
Finally they were free to build and play. Today's creation was a Go Kart crafted from the finest half of a dog crate our neighbor could supply. Painting it with leftover paint from our stash in the garage was a highlight of the day.
Once Dad got home from work we were able to belatedly celebrate our nation's independence with sparklers and Pop-Its.
Essay writing.
