C and I were able to go to the Tulip Festival while the kids were in school. It was a bright, cool morning and everything was washed clean from a recent rainstorm. Perfectly lovely.
The sculptures of the Savior in the Light of the World garden are stunning, but this is my favorite one. Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead has to be one of the most poignant stories in the Bible. The fact that He wept with Mary and Martha even though he knew Lazarus would rise in a brief time shows me that He weeps when I weep and He rejoices when I rejoice.
We fed the fish for 20 minutes. C's joy was contagious.
