D is liking track and while he is not loving it, he is not hating it which is improvement. He hated T-ball and is unmotivated by basketball, but when someone tells him to run, he runs. He is also surprisingly good at the javelin. Steve and I have enjoyed cheering him on at practice and meets though he prefers Dad take him. I once asked D why he wanted Dad to accompany him and he said, "Because I love him." There was no indication that he didn't love me, just a sweet innocence and devotion to his Dad.
