M had her year end clogging recital and she did a great job. Watching her is always a treat.
After the recital M's team gathered at Wendy's for Frostys and french fries. I think I am going to have some serious out of body feelings watching her grow up. It is surreal watching her navigate friends, choices, and life because I was just there. When I see her, I see me. It is fun and terrifying all at once. As long as M can find a good friend group and stay grounded then she's got this.
Her sense of humor will also be an asset. She thinks Bad Lip Reading videos on YouTube are hilarious. This clip with Yoda is especially hilarious to her. I found this rendering of that video in her room.
