Two great things lined up today: General Conference and Steve's birthday.
The kid's prepared their conference forts. The biggest yet.
I thought there were several beautiful, meaningful talks. President Nelson and Sister Eubank stood out to me.
Steve's parents came over so he and his Dad could go to the Priesthood session together. He thought President Nelson's talk was powerful.
While they were gone we made glass block jello.
And when they got back we celebrated Steve's birthday with coconut cake made by his gorgeous wife and stunning children. He loves coconut, but sadly this cake recipe is not "the one" either. The hunt continues...
