D is high energy and would benefit from something. We just don't know what that something is yet because none of the things we've tried have appealed to him so we'll keep looking. The latest thing we tried is karate. He thought kicking a board in half and the resulting ceremonial belt tying was awesome. I thought it was a clever marketing tool. Now all he wants to do is kick boards or anything else he can find sooooo that didn't have the desired outcome.
In other news,when I told him to get his belt on for church he showed up looking like this:
This boy frustrates the holy Moses out of me one moment and in the next has me laughing out loud and gathering him up for a bear hug. D, you are a good boy and I love you so much.
