St George 2018

Steve had to go to St George for work and we were able to go along for the ride.

C was thrilled to sleep in a big bed.

Swimming at the aquatic center is a family favorite. Unfortunate incident: C pooped in the pool. That's never happened before. Talk about a walk of shame.

We tried hiking in the Red Cliffs Reserve. Gorgeous, vivid colors. With the red sand, green shrubs, and blue sky. It was like Christmas. The kids disagreed and thought that was a ridiculous comparison.

C carried rocks the whole way and threw a fit if we suggested he drop them.

Hiking to a natural amphitheater.

I loved this hike. Take note Steve.
Also...are you feeling my MOMNESS?

There were lizards everywhere including the restored pioneer home on the reserve.

This is the discovery we made this trip that put my allergy heart at ease. Cooking in the hotel room. Steve had some reservations because who does that? Ummm...we do now! The absolute best thing ever. Electric skillets rock!

Gigantic Iceberg shakes for dessert.

After eating shakes I asked Steve to drive by the St George Temple. There was a fierce lightening storm rolling in and just as we drove to the front we caught a glimpse of the clouds and the light and the colors and I yelled at Steve to pull over. Everyone was slamming on their brakes. It was incredible. There are no filter on these pictures. This is just how magnificent it was.

While Steve worked, the kids and I played at the splash pad and saw Incredibles 2.

More swimming at the hotel pool. C pooped again. Another walk of shame.

M and I saw the Prince of Egypt. It was freaking awesome.

And then we headed home. But no journey is complete without a stop for ice cream at the Cache Valley Cheese Factory in Beaver.

This was our best trip to St George in years. Thanks for working so we could have a getaway Husband!
