The zoo

Grammy and Grampy invited us to the zoo. It was toasty, but we took our time and had a great day.

A chicken crossed the road and lots of lame jokes ensued.

It was Bugzilla and the zoo was crawling with gigantic bugs.

 

A nursing elephant. Did not know that's how it was done.

C loved the elephants and kept showing them to the little girl parked in the stroller next to him.

We had a half hour before the animal show which meant lots of time for pictures.

Grampy was able to learn more about birds of prey.

C loved the birds too.

That is a bear at their feet.

After the zoo, Grampy treated us to Slurpees and Grammy let the kids choose a stuffed animal. Thanks for the invite! We had so much fun!
