Steve and I have been married fifteen years. I am so grateful he is by my side. I could not have asked for a better man in my life. The last ten years have been blessed by children. Four of them. Three boys and a girl. I find it difficult to articulate how much I love these little humans or how lost I would be without them. My heart is full everyday with gratitude and hope because of them and a little fearful because to love that much and so deeply has an inherent risk. Life has shown me that the depth of grief and loss is equal to the depth of love one shares. Knowing that, I still choose to love my precious children with complete abandon. I am grateful for each day I share with M, J, D, and C.
