I thought it would be fun to do another science project with the kids so I pulled everything together to make rock candy sticks.
They covered the wooden sticks with sugar granules.
Boiled the sugar water into syrup.
Chose their colors and flavors.
Secured their sticks with clothespins after I poured the syrup in the jars.
Posed for a picture with C.
Set the solution on the counter for a week.
Boiled the jars to loosen them.
And ate them.
Huge success.
