Another bird has built a nest in one of our trees. Steve pulled out a ladder so the kids could look inside without disturbing the eggs. We were surprised to see that "one of these things is not like the other".
Also one of the eggs had been pushed out of the nest and cracked. Curious.
But the coolest thing to the kids was a piece of yarn they had left in the yard was now intertwined in the nest. They decided they should leave out soft things in the future for birds to build with. I see pros and cons to that. Mostly cons for me and pros for the birds.
