Cardboard hogans

My Sister recently had a date night where they made intricate candy-covered gingerbread houses. As they were cleaning up, she offhandedly mentioned she thought it would be fun to make gingerbread houses with her niece and nephews with her leftover candy. In a thoughtful gesture everyone enthusiastically donated their leftover candy to M, J, and D as well.

Their beautiful gingerbread houses.

And so M, J, and D were able to make their very own cardboard hogans. (We improvised because of J's wheat allergy thing and my laziness thing.) They had a blast eating candy and decorating their hogans while Christmas music played in the background.

Frosting cardboard boxes.

A clean slate.

Daddy enjoyed the spectacle.

The artists and their masterpieces.

The leftover, leftover candy. Still so much candy.

Thank you for sharing all the candy and the experience! This was a huge hit!
