Nightly routine

Every night we have the same routine with the kids. Each child has their own Book of Mormon. They are in different places so we read a verse with each of them. Then we write a brief synopsis of our day in the family journal. Then we pray together. The whole thing takes about fifteen minutes. M has been writing in the journal for a long time, but now that J is in kindergarten he has decided it is his turn to "write letters".

Then after the prayer Steve carries each one to bed. He is a great Dad and the kids love him.
