When we found out we were pregnant and due in July I was thrilled because that meant the baby would be born in the summer and we could stay home or go play, learn to be a bigger family and love one another, all without the obligations of a school year. As we know my plan derailed and M, J and D return to school in a few days. I am so sad we missed the opportunity to bond like I had hoped. Even though I still feel like I've hit by a truck I decided to try to capture the last few days of summer. I figured I could manage taking the kids to a splash pad. The kids loved doing something that was fun and focused on them.
