Steve is a Star Wars fan and has already seen the new movie twice. His excitement has been contagious and now our children are infected with Star Wars fever. They have watched the three original movies with him and though they are not allowed to watch the new Star Wars movie until they are 13 (It's rated PG-13 for a reason), they are anxiously counting down the years until they are of age.
In the meantime, Steve pulled out the Star Wars action figures he used to play with as a child and which his parents still own. The kids were as excited as he was to line them up and play with them. It was endearing.
Oh and it is Christmas Eve and thank you In-laws for a perfectly lovely clam chowder dinner! It was delicious.
After a white knuckle drive in a surprisingly blinding snow storm we made it home very late, but safe. We set cookies and milk out for Santa. Thank you Grammy for supplying the cookies!
