M and D loved raking leaves into piles and jumping into them.
Finding a red leaf amidst all the yellow ones was especially exciting.
Unfortunately, J could not join them because he had a cough that was aggravating his asthma. I made him feel better about having to miss all the fun by giving him candy. He was appeased.
Later, we embraced November by dressing up one of our Halloween pumpkins for Thanksgiving.
