Last year my Mom took me and my sisters to the Messiah Sing In at Abravanel Hall and we had such an amazing time, she purchased tickets again for us this year. I loved it even more this year than last. The conductor was Rei Hotoda and she was awesome. She came out, introduced herself, talked about why she loved Handel's Messiah and gave the audience free reign to feel the music and embrace the community spirit. So we laughed and sang and enjoyed the community. Loved. Loved. Loved. Mom, thank you for taking me to sing the Messiah just like you did when I was little and thought the Amen chorus would never end. Now I wish it wouldn't. Love you!
