Summer of 2014 has ended and my heart is breaking. This has been the best summer we have had yet. Lazy days. Children happily playing together. Sunshine. Weekly adventures. I did not want this one to end and yet...
M's first day of second grade is here and after walking her up to the school doors in the rain I decided the heavens were weeping for me while I pasted a fake smile on my face for her. I think I will always be sad sending my babies to school. In other news, M is totally thrilled to begin a new year and has been jumping up and down waiting for the new adventures to start.
It's just me and the boys again. When we dropped M off they were sad and went around all day asking when she would be home. I'm counting down too, boys. I'm counting down, too.
