We have been involved with my Mom's basement remodel and my kids have loved going over and overseeing the changes at Grandma's house. I think part of their enjoyment has come from playing in the construction dust. It will be sad for them when they can't go downstairs and roll around on the floor so white dusty powder can cling to their hair and clothes and they can laugh at how silly they each look. For those who are wondering why I don't stop them from doing this, here's your answer...I might as well stand in front of a Mack Truck. You choose your battles.
