We spent the evening putting the tree up. Literally up. I didn't want to spend the month hollering at curious and excited children so we put the tree about four feet off the ground. We had a great time talking about each ornament as we placed it on a branch.
The kids stared at the little lights shining from the Christmas village.
M was a pro ornament hanger this year.
J loved the cars and trains.
D surprised us. He was so engaged in the process that he would not look at us. He went silently from the ornaments to the tree. He was dedication personified and he absolutely loved his job.
The finished product moments before the bin tipped and spilled three deliriously happy children on the floor.
