The Family Home Evening lesson was about how we can be good examples to one another. The kids were able to add a strip of sunshine to our sun and see that they can shine when they make good choices. They loved that sun for days.
I should mention that not every lesson is a success. In fact a good number of them include Steve and I jumping into the fray to separate battling children, instruct a child not to throw a toy at a head, or just sit silently while all three kids cry with crocodile tears streaming down their faces because we didn't sing the right song. Ahhhhh the memories we are making.
