Christmas is here! Steve and I laid in bed listening to M and J sneak out of bed and excitedly whisper to one another at the top of the stairs. They flew down and then back up and then down and then back up. Finally, they came to get us. They were thrilled because Santa came!
The boys tested out the Tonka trucks in every way their little boy brains could think up. This was their favorite.
Turns out D is a candy junkie. He could not get enough of the stuff.
M was the funniest to watch. She would not touch the Barbies for a half hour. Why? Because of these beauties.
She found the first smencil and danced and screamed for a full minute and when she found the second one...well...it was pure pandemonium. She had been wanting them for so long and it was a dream come true. She sat on that chair for thirty minutes staring, smelling, and writing letters in the air with black cherry and orange recycled paper. I loved watching her.
She eventually moved on with some encouragement.
