M loves to draw. She enjoys all mediums...sidewalk chalk, paint, crayons, markers...doesn't matter, she's a big fan. She recently discovered using markers to color rocks. She loved the brightness of color and thought it would be awesome to get that same vibrant wow factor on the sidewalk. She got a response alright, but it was more of a shocked, "Ahhh! Honey! Stop!" Not wanting to squelch her artistic side I calmly hugged her and told her the princess was beautiful, but markers were for paper not sidewalks. Then I gave Steve a choice-make dinner or start scrubbing. He chose scrubbing, but he thought both options stunk.
