Footloose

My brother got the lead role in Footloose. No, he was not in the cast. In fact, you never saw him. Question: When you read the blog title did you hear the iconic song in your mind? You bet you did! And that was the part my brother got...lead guitarist and band director. We headed over to hear him and the band accompany the actors and I've got to say they were awesome! I was so proud! Seriously, the best live band in any community production. Flawless. My brother will tell you there were mistakes, but they were only things a musician would notice. During the curtain call when the actors pointed to the band the crowd went wild. The cheers they received were louder than what the actors got. That's what I'm talking about. Bro, you did great and I'm no sycophant.
