There is an older couple that live in my in-laws neighborhood. They are a riot. Wonderful people. Well they offered me the plums off their tree and we all know I never say no to free food even if my son's sealing and surgery happen to occur that same week. I was having some trouble coordinating a time to pick the plums, but finally worked it out and called to tell them a time. We arrived with buckets and children in tow only to learn they had picked the tree for us that morning. How sweet is that? So thoughtful and generous and absolutely delicious.
