Just close the door and walk away.

It was a typical night at our house. Steve was home from work and in the living room. I was pulling dinner together in the kitchen. The kids were crying, screaming, laughing, and running between us. Out of the corner of my eye I saw J sneak into the pantry and the next thing I heard was a loud explosion. I turn around to a kitchen filling with white powder. I scream and grab J while Steve comes running into the fray. My toddler managed to pull the pin on the fire extinguisher and discharge it in our pantry. A fine white chemical powder covered everything including dinner. We ate it anyway. After I closed the pantry door, of course. I am a firm believer in letting the dust settle in all of life's dramatic situations.
