Halloween is awesome. Getting dressed up, going out in the crisp fall air, and getting gobs of free candy. What could possibly be better than that? Seriously. M was a Hawaiian princess and we went as the doting parents. (Not very original.) Our neighborhood has lots of young families and there were a few warming stations where they served hot chocolate and soup. Earlier in the day we went to the library and listened to a witch tell stories and then we also picked several bushels of apples to turn into juice, fruit leather, applesauce, pie filling, and whatever else we feel inspired to try. Sure hope your Halloween was as wonderful as ours!
